Calistoga Vineyard Getaway Hot Tub and Tastings Included

This home was beautiful and spacious. We had booked for a total of 8 girls, but only had 6 and there was more than enough room. The kitchen is spacious, with all the cooking essentials. The pool and hot tub were clean and ready to use (net just in case you want to do extra cleaning). The propane grill was a great addition to our weekend. The home was clean with beautiful views. It does get dark out here, so it’s preferred to drive in the daytime.

Amazing stay!! This Airbnb was in a great location close to multiple wineries, and was an amazing value with all the amenities that were included, especially the 3 tastings for our group that were included with the stay! All the wineries we went to through WC lodging were exceptional and made for a great trip. The home itself was clean, organized, and had plenty of space for our group of 8.

I love staying here. It was secluded, peaceful, and had a beautiful view. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. It was about 30 minutes from the wineries offered with the reservation and about 20 minutes from downtown Calistoga. Lots of curvy roads and the driveway to the air bnb is not well lit so I recommend getting there during the day. Thank you again!

The place is perched on a small hill with outstanding views of mountains and rolling countryside.we took advantage of 2 free wine tastings for 6 of us. The kitchen is well appointed and afforded easy preparation for home cooked meals . The place was ideal for our party of 7 and I recommend it highly.

Beautiful pastoral location. House is good for families, with a separate main bedroom/bath suite, separate from secondary bedrooms and bath. Location is nice, but just a little isolated— a good 20 minutes from conveniences like the grocery store or restaurants.

Stayed here for my birthday at the end of April 2015 with 4 friends. Amazing views of mountains and vineyards! Very clean, and comfortably furnished inside - lots of nice towels, good beds, and nice bed linens. Great floor plan, ideal for a small group. We loved sitting around the large farm table in the dining room. All you need to bring are groceries and your clothes (and we brought bottled water also). Good kitchen, absolutely everything is provided (unlike time shares). It is also really close to wineries, towns of Calistoga, St.Helena - and we found it wasn't that far from Safari West (animal preserve) in Santa Rosa. Would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility challenges, as access into the home via stairs to both front and back doors could be a little difficult, but most definitely recommend if you want the experience of staying in a clean, private, quiet, country home!

We booked the Calistoga Vineyard House with three other couples to spend a few days in the Napa Valley area exploring wineries. The home was in a great location and had ample room for the eight of us. A couple of things that weren't mentioned in previous reviews - this is actually a double wide mobile home - kept up well but the walls are paper thin. We ran out of dishwasher detergent the first night we were there and had to pick up some more in town. Also there were no hangers at all in the home, in any of the four bedrooms or anywhere else that we could find. The hot tub was nice. The pool is small but would have been fine for a quick dip. Views were amazing and the location is perfect. Quiet setting with everything you can possibly need in the kitchen. Overall a good place to stay.

Calistoga home had ideal space for 8 girlfriends to celebrate together for a long weekend. The amount of hot water was amazing for everyone to get ready. Kitchen was adequately stocked we just added groceries (market in Calisotga was 10 mins away max) to make breakfast and dinner. Pool and hot tub were added bonus to relax in the evening after long days of wine tasting. So quiet and remote you could see the stars, but is quite a drive into Napa so recommend a limo or car service for the drive back. The house must have been a trailer as the floors creaked however the owners have done a great job of making it cozy. Plenty of towels for showers and pool time and the AC was almost too cold. The washer and dryer were great to have if needed and two living areas plus the outside space made everyone comfortable. Only two minor complaints: poor wifi connection, however had cell service so not a big concern. The lock on the front door was extremely difficult to lock/latch when leaving (neither the key or code worked) may have been the battery however we had to lock from the inside and climb out through a window (luckily the window were large). Turnkey answered the call and offered to come out however leaving the following morning we opted to just climb out the window rather than interrupt the last night together. Great place and would recommend for those willing to be together and a bit out of town.

We enjoyed this beautiful location and the entire Calistoga and Napa experience. We were disappointed in a few areas with the rental property. The first concern, was the ant problem in the kitchen, all food had to be kept in the refrigerator. Also, we were not able to connect to the wifi the entire trip. That was a little disappointing, but, our overall experience was very good. If those concerns are addressed the rental property will be outstanding.

The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location is a little out of the way from Calistoga - but not onerously so. It is located in an enchanting location, and is great as a pet-friendly location. Unfortunately, it rained for two days and had two hard freezes so Eddie the Dachshund did not get the full run of the property he may otherwise have had. The disappointment was loosing water pressure two mornings in a row. The maintenance man showed up sort of promptly the first day (since he had to come from the other side of Sebastapol) but did not respond the second day. I believe the well pump is about to give up the ghost so I suggest major maintenance before renting the facility again. I would rent again with the assurance and evidence that the water problem has been eliminated.

Our friends and I had a wonderful stay in the Vineyard House. The location and views were absolutely beautiful and it wasn't too far from downtown Calistoga. The hot tub was a bonus on the clear nights.

Decent property, very clean and functional with lots of space, in spite of paper thin walls and cabin-like insulation. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Kitchen lacked some equipment, and for that price, we would have expected the minimal pantry essentials like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, foil... We booked 3 months ahead for a wedding (high season) and found that accommodation was scarce and overpriced.

This house was perfect for our group of 7! The views are spectacular - we very much enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio in the mornings. We also loved having the pool - it was a great way to relax before the wedding we attended in Calistoga. Heads up - it's a bit outside of town, so getting an Uber was a bit difficult. I'd recommend making transportation plans in advance, if needed. And yes, the house is actually a double-wide trailer home, but you couldn't really tell - it's very comfortable and very nicely decorated inside. I would definitely book again!

We stayed here for my 50th Birthday. Perfect!!! The property is located in a quiet vineyard on a quiet street. Even though Calistoga is right down the road it felt like we were away from it all!.. Sabrina and her sweetheart have made this home so comfortable with everything you need for a fantastic trip to the wine country, Thank you to both of you for opening your home to us. We had a wonderful time in wine country. This house suited our needs. It was clean, had all the amenities and a beautiful view of vineyards and of Mount Saint Helena. We loved taking long walks, sitting in the hot tub and feeling like we were in Tuscany! Its a simple home, not fancy but the pictures are a solid representation of the interior and exterior for the home. We had a group of 8, the house was a good size for us but we enjoy being together and do not need a lot of extra space. I would say it is a good value for your dollar. I searched for several weeks and could not find a better deal in such an amazing location. We plan on making this a yearly stay.

If you've never been to Napa/Sonoma before, let me tell you this place is amazing. It is very difficult to find a vacation rental there and when you do, they are extremely expensive and in a blah tract home division. I already live in the burbs, and when I want to go to Napa, I want to be in the country - on a quite no-traffic lane surrounded by vineyards with views of the mountains, where I can pick fresh blackberries and lay out by the pool having a glass of wine. THIS is it. True wine country. Not the over populated, mass-tourist Napa, but real, down to earth wine country. Yes, you are in the country, and that means well-water and tractors rolling slowly down the street to the next vineyard - we even saw a wild boar one night when driving to the house! - but that's the excitement & charm of it. Oh. Recommendations. You definitely need a car and remember to bring lots of bottled water. Be prepared to RELAX. You won't regret it. There are terrific country land walks and amazing bike rides (with no traffic!) that start right out your door. Calistoga is my favorite wine country town and not too far away. It's the most 'real' of the Napa towns. St Helena is the next town over and is one of the 'high end' Napa towns. Nice to have both nearby so you can pick your favorite too.

We had a great stay in Knights Valley. The house was comfortable, clean and in the ideal location. A stones throw away from downtown Calistoga and Solage and a short drive to Alexander Valley and Saint Helena. We had a great time drinking wine on the front deck and taking long walks at sunset. The views are spectacular. We spent one evening pizza tasting and wine tasting at Medlock Ames and it was unbelievable. We plan on returning and staying at this house every year. We highly recommend. We had a great stay in wine country. The views from this property are amazing - there is nothing like waking up to Mount Saint Helena surrounded by vineyards. It's a great family home - perfect for our group of 6 plus two babies. Simple, clean, all the amenities, new hot tub, etc. The owners were helpful, gave us great recommendations and were flexible with our check-in time. We will definitely return for a weekend getaway from San Francisco.

My bad, this was a multi-family weekend getaway. So, it was a joint decision to stay here and I was too busy to really do my due diligence throughly. One of the reviews actually said what we learned that it is in fact a MOBILE HOME! Yes, it is still in a wonderful location. However, the downsides are; 1. Mobile Home... so the walls are extremely thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. Light sleepers and babies or kids that need quite, its not going to happen here. 2. I believe the water is well water and hence is treated. So, it is excessively SOFT water. Which if you are not familiar with how soft water feels, it feels slimy. Like as if you cannot rinse the soap off slimy. Also, from the bathroom the hot water had a horrible smell. AND, hot or cold, don't think about drinking or cooking with the water. Luckily stores are very close, we stocked up on gallons of bottled water. 3. The hot tub, was nice and warm all the time, except the water was yellowish (scary, not knowing when it was cleaned with fresh water or treated) and again with the soft water, don't stand up.. its slippery! 4. The pool is not heated and is deceivingly small from the pictures. 5. No exterior lights anywhere! none in the driveway, none around the porch/deck and not even around the pool/hot tub area.... forget grilling after it gets dark. 6. Lastly, the property is not in the best of shape, lots of dry rot on the decking, paint cracking... I only say this because we were staying with 3 toddlers and chipping paint/splinters is not a great combo. That all being said, we all enjoyed the location.... in the end of the day it just did not live up to our expectations.

We had the most amazing stay in wine country. The area and house was everything we could have hoped for. We love the Calistoga area. The house was is in the perfect location. 10 minutes to Calistoga, 20 minutes to Saint Helena, 20 minutes to Healdsburg and only 5 minutes to the closest winery and spa, Chateau Mount Helena and Solage. Both are fabulous and I highly recommend. The house was everything Sabrina said it was - clean, amazing views, a great simple place. We love the views and the house was fully stocked with sheets, towels, utensils etc. The tables outside and inside are were both large enough to sit 8 comfortably( which was huge for us because we barbequed one night and loved taking our time in the morning to eat breakfast). We also appreciated the fact that the grill is a nice, heavy Weber stainless steel grill and that the hot tub is new and hot! We are a group of teachers on a budget and never would have been able to afford such a fabulous weekend away on a budget if it was not for this house. We plan on returning every year and highly recommend this house!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in wine country. The house was clean, comfortable and is in an amazing location. We were not able to find any other houses that were four bedroom and that could sleep 8 in beds that would fit our budget. We feel fortunate to have found this house and even luckier to find that it was not on the highway and located in such a SPECIAL place. We loved that the tables, both inside and out can fit 8 people and that they house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful answering all of our questions and we loved Calistoga and Saint Helena. We would recommend going north to Alexander Valley and Healdsburg as well! We hope to return this summer for a long weekend.

This house is an awesome home to rent for the weekend!! My boyfriend and I rented this house for the weekend and had a few friends over to celebrate our birthdays. The view from this home is amazing and it basically has all the amenities you need - pool, hot tub, great front porch and any kitchen appliance you can possibly think of. Sabrina was extremely responsive the entire time. She was very helpful in answering any questions I had before signing the contract and even responded to random questions when we were at the house. A few things I do want to mention: - the bathroom in the master bedroom is not extremely reliable. The toilet cannot handle more than 3 flushes per hour and the hot water tank does not have enough water for three hot showers in a row. -there is a small house in the front of the property that Sabrina and her family may stay in while you are there. Although the pretty much stay out of your business. All in all I would definitely rent this home again, it's a great easy getaway from the bustling Bay Area.

We had a wonderful reunion with old friends at this beautiful Knight's Valley home . The location is absolutely stunning with spectacular views of the vineyards below and Mt. St. Helena in the distance. Both Healdsburg and Calistoga are within easy driving distance, as are numerous nearby wine tasting opportunities. What we found most enjoyable was simply relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery. The owners were easy to easy to work with and the photos give a clear and accurate representation of the property, amenities and view. We would highly recommend this property, and look forward to a return visit soon.

Location, Location, Location! What a great place to stay!! We stayed at the house for 5 days in November and had the most amazing time. From the super comfy chairs in front of the HUGE picture window, to the fully-stocked kitchen and the hot tub - this house was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing 40th birthday. The location provided the best stay we could possibly imagine. We were able to walk along the quite country road surrounded by vineyards or stay indoors and feel as though we were outside - enjoying the view - of the vineyards and of Mount Saint Helena. My husband said it was his most memorable birthday ever! Beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice and clean, and we even enjoyed some great board games! Sabrina gets 5 stars too, she was wonderful. All of the information she sent was helpful in our stay and she was always accessible by phone and email. Being such a busy person, I prefer email for nearly everything, and I was glad to see that she responded promptly and didn't mind working with me over email. We will would love to stay here every year!

This is a MOBILE HOME. Nothing in the information tells you that. And it has all the privacy of thin walled mobile homes. The price is way too high for what it is. The pool is very small. Yet what would keep me away more was the poor communication with the owners. They do not return calls or emails. I spent weeks trying to confirm a reservation. After staying there I repeatedly tried to get my deposit check back from them. They never responded to me. I had to pay my bank to put a stop payment on the check. Absolutely, do not stay here. There are better choices and much easier places to deal with. I have already booked a much better place for September with very nice and easy people to deal with.

We absolutely loved the location of the property! Unfortunately we had issues with the front door lock not working when we got there. The back door was unlocked so we were able to access the property and the property manager sent someone the next day to change the battery. The home was not very clean. There weee foot prints on the walls, a lot of dust and ants were really bad. There also was not enough bath towels, or wash cloths for the guests. The home sleeps 10 but there were only about 6 towels and wash cloths. It also did not have enough extra blankets/pillows for the guests sleeping on the couches. When it says sleeps 10, they are including the couches. Overall our stay was nice, absolutely loved the area. But for the price, we expected better accommodations.

We traveled to Napa Valley to take our sons wine tasting and stayed at this Beautiful Ranch Home for two nights. The property had a Vineyard next to it and a very welcoming pool in the backyard especially during our hot summer weekend. The property itself was clean and roomy and we had a wonderful time. This location slept seven individuals comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and utensils, that were in good condition. There was myriad serving platters.The air conditioner could not keep the home cooled during the mid-day heat. The property was very large, the fruit trees were pretty. Thanks!

Reviewer Comments: From the first entry we had a surprise and it continued during the visit. Every room had bugs alive and dead. The master bath was full of cob webs, tile was lifting off the floor. The master bath has mold on the ceiling. The master closet has an old T.V. stored and is full of cobwebs and generally dirty. The second bedroom had 13 Kleenex's between the bed and the wall. The person that was assigned to that room refused to sleep there after she found it she had to bunk up with another guest. The entry way has a plum tree growing over it. The ripe plums are falling all over the deck in front of the door. We had to hose the porch daily in the morning and after noon due to the over ripe plums that fall from the tree and smash on the porch. The kitchen was dirty in general sink, coffee pot and the floor was dirty. The pool is much smaller then the photo shows, I could go on but i think you get the point. We were very disappointed. We were there to visit family and were ashamed to tell them how bad our problems were. You gave us our cleaning fee and $240 off. Do you think that's a fair value for what we paid and what was wrong?

- Internet is COMPLETELY useless, all it is a repeater from the main house, can't even stream Netflix - TV is NOT HD, very poor quality - Hot tub heat turned off when we arrived, took several days to heat up - Pool is very small and was dirty with lots of bugs - BBQ is useless, burned our food from so much grease at the bottom that flames up. - Handle in one bedroom came right off, my son got stuck in the room until he figured out how to get the knob back on - Way over priced for what is provided!!

We had a great 3-night stay at the property - the pool looks bigger than the pictures, the outdoor patio and decks are great, and our group loved the amount of communal space inside. TV/Wifi isn't great but that was the expectation and not a primary use for us. The location is close to downtown Calistoga but remote enough to feel secluded and comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our relaxing long weekend and would definitely return!

We loved the location as it was a quick drive to Calistoga but away from all the hustle and bustle. The property is located on a backroad that was a great location for a long walks/runs that was completely off the beaten path with vistas of wildflower fields and vineyards.

I would highly recommend it to anyone to stay here. However, I would also recommend to do the following: MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE AC ON. When we got there the inside of the house was 88 degrees and with windows open (It was high 60's at that point) and AC on it was still 80 degrees in the house at 11pm. Having two very cranky tired kids that couldn't fall asleep was not fun. We also had an RV that was 12'6 and very difficult to get in or out of the property because of low hanging trees right at the entrance. It would be nice if they adjusted the listing to reflect that but if you have a vehicle over 7'0" you will have issues. Finally the code didnt work to check in but it was easy enough to call and get a new one and we got in no problem from there. Overall would still certainly recommend but for the price to have a scratched RV and not be able to sleep well the first of two nights could have been a little better.

We were hoping for beautiful landscaping and a lot more shade. The umbrella was down when we arrived and when we opened it a hundred bats flew out. Not a great beginning to our getaway. For the amount of money we spent we were expecting much better accommodations. We won’t be doing this again unless we visit the property first. On the positive side, the inside was very clean and the remoteness made for a peaceful stay.
