Healdsburg Homestead

The home is beautiful and charming, was great for two families with kids. We enjoyed the pool and had ample grounds for kids to play, and was very easy to get to downtown Healdsburg.

The home is absolutely gorgeous and my girlfriend's and I enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen and lounging by the pool. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. My only issue is with the check in and check out process. One person in our group had a medical emergency the day before our trip and was suddenly unable to come. I message'd Debi asking about rescheduling and explained our situation, offering to show proof from the hospital. She did not respond. Since we didn't hear back and didn't know if we could reschedule we decided we had to go without our friend. I messaged Debi the next day letting her know and then she responded. I also asked for an early check in and she only offered to let us check in one hour early (2pm). I've been to many airbnbs and usually hosts have accommodated earlier check ins, so we were disappointed. We were also denied a late checkout. Other than that, the space definitely does not disappoint and we would consider staying here again.

Hi Michelle, Thank you again for staying with us. We’re so glad you and your friends enjoyed the home, especially the kitchen and pool area. Your message about possibly rescheduling and your follow-up message confirming your group would still be coming came through the Airbnb thread at essentially the same time, so by the time we saw the conversation the trip was already moving forward. We completely understand that unexpected situations come up, but at roughly 30 hours before arrival there unfortunately isn’t flexibility for cancellations or rescheduling, as staffing, cleaning coordination, and reservation commitments are already in place and the policy is outlined prior to booking. We still did our best to accommodate where we could and offered a complimentary early check-in at 2pm. Because another group was checking out that same day, we weren’t able to offer an earlier arrival time or a late checkout without affecting the cleaning and preparation schedule for incoming guests. We’re happy the home itself made for such an enjoyable stay overall, and we truly appreciate you choosing the property.

This property, on a small side lane outside town of Healdsburg, is 5 minutes from the town square but feels very separate, quiet and private. Large property with many mature trees screening out most neighbors. The yard is extensively planted with a variety of lovely flowers. The hot tub is filled with well water, hence a little murky, but lovely to use. The pool is unheated, but very easy to enjoy. It's a family home, and is comfortable and unfussy. Great spot, would look forward to coming back.

What a hidden gem. About ten minutes from downtown but feels a world away. Delightful garden, outdoor spaces and kitchen. Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

We'd love to stay here again the next time we are in Healdsburg! The space was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and make coffee. It was also convenient to drive to nearby wineries and head into town.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was ideal and made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The home itself is beautiful, thoughtfully curated, and immediately felt comfortable and welcoming. The backyard was perfect, peaceful, and a great space to relax. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Beautiful space, thoughtfully designed with many areas to hang and chill in. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms well appointed, seating areas and fireplace awesome for games and chill. Great kitchen space perfect for big dinners and cooking at home. Outside space so welcoming and spacious. Perfect for indoor and outdoor hosting and hangs in the hotub or around a fire. The house was really well designed but not overly precious. Perfect balance of warmth and function. We didn't use the pool (brrr-winter) but it was very cute. Veg garden and blooming native flowers all around felt authentic to the area. Headsburg town less then a 5 min drive (you could walk if you want!) full of great restaurants and shops for the whole family. This is a great find, we will be back!

This is such a special place. We had a couples weekend in Healdsburg with some friends and given the choice of heading out for dinner, we all decided to hunker back at the airbnb and cook! It was such an inviting, comfortable, well-appointed space - and the host is fantastic. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. We’ll be back!!

The property including bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen etc, are beautiful and really great. The location could not be better for all of the wineries on Dry Creek and Westside road. Was perfect to go to our wineries for wine pickups and to explore new ones as well without the worries of a long drive home after enjoying ourselves.Pool is not heated so don't expect to be able to use by late fall.We unfortunately encountered the following issues:As we stayed shortly after the early rains of the season the amount of ants in the bathrooms and the kitchen were uncontrollable and the property did not have anything on site to manage the issue. They provided a discount as a result of the vacationing alongside the ants!Hot tub had issues because of well water and was brown, once chemicals were inserted by pool technician it was good. Jets don't all work but otherwise hot and relaxing.

We loved our stay at the Healdsburg Homestead! It was the first leg of a 10 day Wine to Waves road trip through Wine Country and Mendocino County and was a perfect start to the trip. The home is warm, inviting and comfortable and very functional for cooking/eating at home. The outdoor space is amazing. We loved exploring the property and sitting out on the patio in the am and evening after visiting the many nearby wineries in Dry Creek, Russian River and Alexander Valleys. The location is close to all the great restaurants and shops in Healdsburg as well. Hosts were very responsive and flexible, too. Thank you!

We had the most amazing week staying at this Healdsburg home! It had all the amenities we needed, including an awesome pool at the perfect temperature and a relaxing hot tub. The location was ideal, with a coffee shop within walking distance, about a mile, and just a few minutes’ drive to incredible vineyards and wineries. Our dog also loved the neighborhood, especially the neighboring horses, donkey, and other dogs. We definitely recommend staying here and will absolutely be back!

Beautiful location, the pool is wonderful, the kitchen is very well stocked. We stayed over a long weekend and had plenty of fun in town and at the house. Just make sure to keep an offline copy of the very long door code, there is no cell service at the house -- there is wifi but you'll need the code first to get in.

The property is gorgeous with the sprawling grass, and multiple gardens. The addition of the furniture and market lights creates a beautiful ambiance at night. The interior is so cute, and really well designed. We were a family of 6 adults staying (3 couples) and the (3) bedrooms worked perfectly for us. There is a lower level family room hangout where everyone could lounge together, and the main kitchen/dining space was perfect for cooking and gathering for a meal. My whole family kept commenting that this was the perfect weekend retreat, and that we all want to come back! The drive time to downtown Healdsburg is minimal, and some of the best wineries are within a 10-20 minute drive. We didn't want to leave!

This place was beautiful with amazing garden and yard attached with the pool. Inside was well designed and very functional with many daily items and lovely books. Though for the $not allowed to share per night (ended up with cleaning tax and everything) there was only 2 bath room and even if we were to fill the house to 7, per night per person which seems too pricy for the property. Compared to other pricy property I've stayed for this price, this place should have little more hang out room, another bathroom and maybe slightly larger bedrooms. Maybe the price is set based on the pool only since the pool is amazing. Overall it was a good experience.

The house is gorgeous and just as advertised. The pool, hot tub, and back deck area were just stunning. The check-in process was a tad confusing at first. I received two texts with door code locks and neither seemed to work at first, and there was no real way to contact anyone because no number to call (only email address until you get in the house) and cell service was limited. We figured it out and all was well. Can’t say enough about tue facilities of the house though - very well-appointed. The interior is charming and the location is perfect for going into Healdsburg and out to the wineries. Would definitely recommend this lovely spot to others coming to the area. Thank you!

Healdsburg Homestead is a cozy little cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. The backyard and deck are quirky and wonderful. Both the street in front of and behind the house are very quiet and seem to only be trafficked by neighbors. Given the proximity to neighbors I would say this is not a rental for large groups planning to be boisterous which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet. We cooked a few meals while we were there and the kitchen is outfitted nicely. There is a nice selection of vinyl albums and so many wonderful design books to enjoy as well.

Healdsburg Homestead was a wonderful place to spend a long weekend! My friends and I wish we could have stayed longer. It is beautiful, quiet and has all of the amenities you need! The kitchen is fully stocked, linens are incredibly soft and we absolutely loved the vinyl collection! The backyard oasis was also amazing. Hoping to enjoy the pool next time! Lastly the checkout process was incredibly easy which is so appreciated. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!
